Everything is
crumbling
Falling as
hard
and as
fast
as a tower.
Bricks,
in pieces
shatter
explode
metal,
like frisbees,
frisbees like daggers,
to my eyes,
to my stomach,
straight to my heart.
Can't hold it together.
Can't touch it.
Can't feel it.
And here I lay
minute by minute,
breathe by breathe,
piece by piece.
There is no center.
Only empty spaces,
lifeless faces,
we've destroyed this place
lost our faith
And here I lay
waiting for the world to
fall
crash
break
upon me.
